It was my turn for the Thursday Post over at Scrap `n Stamp last week, and I got to play with these great paper embellishments! The are die cut flowers that you punch out and layer with pop dots to create cool 3D embellishments! They went together so quickly and made some cute cards!

I was playing around with a few techniques the other day, trying to figure out what I was going to do for my upcoming tutorials over at Scrap ‘n Stamp, and came up with these four cards using the double resist technique. As you may know from a previous post Some friends of mine are getting married, well last week the girls threw a shower for the bride. I made this card to match the towel cake I put together.
I love my CuttleBug Embossing folders! and the birds & swirls one went beautifully with my stamped image!
I added a few layers to the inside of my card as well, I love to decorate the insides of my cards, I always feel like it has completed the card and the people who open the card are always so amazed by my creativity!

I just love these Mimosa Papers by SEI so with summer on the brain, I had to use them to make this summer wedding card!
I sure hope the newly weds like it!!!

I created this card for the gallery (the DT has decided to bombard the gallery with all kinds of Christmas projects). I used a Dreamweaver Stencil, Versa Magic Inks, transparent Embossing Paste, and glitter to create my Christmas Tree, and complimented it with some Mimosa papers (I know not very Christmas, but it worked) and Core’dinations cardstock. Although nontraditional, I think it turned out great!
