3D Die Cut Cards

27 08 2009

It was my turn for the Thursday Post over at Scrap `n Stamp last week, and I got to play with these great paper embellishments!  The are die cut flowers that you punch out and layer with pop dots to create cool 3D embellishments!  They went together so quickly and made some cute cards!

Here is a side view of the embellies

3d4With a few of the pieces (I did not completely assemble the images) I made these cards and gift tags.

Double Resist Christmas Cards

24 08 2009

I was playing around with a few techniques the other day, trying to figure out what I was going to do for my upcoming tutorials over at Scrap ‘n Stamp, and came up with these four cards using the double resist technique.  There will be a tutorial soon over at Scrap ‘n Stamp so swing by on Tuesday’s to check them out!

Christmas In July

12 07 2009

Merry Christmas (In July)

It’s that time over at Scrap ‘n Stamp, and we have been busy creating some amazing projects to inspire you through out the week.  They have an amazing sale going on right now, and LOTS of blog candy too!  Go check it out and make sure you go back each day for more great ideas!!!

I created this card for the gallery (the DT has decided to bombard the gallery with all kinds of Christmas projects).  I used a Dreamweaver Stencil, Versa Magic Inks, transparent Embossing Paste, and glitter to create my Christmas Tree, and complimented it with some Mimosa papers (I know not very Christmas, but it worked) and Core’dinations cardstock.  Although nontraditional, I think it turned out great!

A Couple More Father’s Day Cards

12 06 2009

I told you I had, had quite a bit of time to craft even though I did not have time to post…. Well I have some more time to post so here are some more Father’s Day cards for you.

For these cards I used digi stamps from Dustin Pike, along with some more basic Grey papers, and Stampin’ Up! Markers.  The images are printed on Glossy cardstock and the image just outlined to add colour.  I left these cards simple and let the patterned paper do the embellishing!  I think any dad would be happy to get one of these cuties for Father’s Day!!

Hope you like these!

Until Next Time,

Happy Crafting!

Father’s Day Card

11 06 2009

Hey, I’m back again with another card…

she;llie3This card is part of my collection of Father’s Day cards that I have for sale… It has been so much fun designing cards for this special day!  I used Basic Grey patterned paper, as well as SU! cardstock and stamp.  I coloured the truck in with SU! markers.  The rectandles are cut out using the Nestability Deckled Rectangles by Spellbinders which I bought at Scrap ‘n Stamp. Lastly I used the Spellbinders foil behind the truck to give that chrome look.

I like the way this turned out so much that this may even be the card that Taryn gives her Daddy for his first Father’s day! (It helps that he is a big ‘car guy’)

Well until next time, Happy Crafting,

life keeps getting in the way!!

10 06 2009

Well, I know it has been over a week since I got back from Galiano, and no posts!!  Sorry about that!  But I have been busy making some cards, here are a few I made, they are all the same but with different papers.  The papers are from Basic Grey, and the stamps, cardstock and scalloped circle are SU!
Hope you like em!

Till next time,

Happy Crafting!

Eastern Beauty – A Card For My Friend

28 05 2009

I thank my friends all the time for being so amazing… but every once in a while I like to send a card in the mail as a little reminder that I am grateful for all they do and for being in my life… This card was made for a good friend of mine for that exact reason!!

Thanks to all my good friends!  I value each and everyone of you!
